hey Hal, so would you like to make me one? what would it cost me for you to make a heater-type strap shield thats about 22in wide and 46 in long? size is approx. i dont have a measuring tape right now so i cant give exact numbers. Let me know man, thanks!

Sure! What thickness plywood? 3/8?
Do you want those as your final deminsions, or your core deminsions? How far down do you want it to go before turning in for the point?

Azreal, you would most likely be better served with a coreless shield. See Grukar, he makes some awsume shields

I think 3/8 is thick enough, I would want those as my final dimensions so i guess 20x44, and I would want it to taper 12in. before the bottom.
Tulga, im also making myself. even though a coreless shield might be easier to wield I want a solid shield to build strength and endurance, and more importantly stop spears not just deflect them. That way I can feel like a badass... and isn't that why we are all out here ;D

where is a good place o have foam found for shields.......i need to have it shipped , does anyone have any good contacts.........
